Poligrafías. Call for Papers 2011

The editorial board of Poligrafías. Revista de teoría literaria y literatura comparada. Nueva época, a journal of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, invites academics specialized in the field of literature, art and the humanities in general to submit articles within any of the following thematic areas:

  • Literary theory
  • Literary topics within an intercultural context
  • Analysis of one or more literary works, emphasizing either a certain theoretical problem or a particular aspect of comparative literature (themes, images, historical contexts, genres, etc.)
  • Interdisciplinary approaches to literature
  • Book reviews on comparative literature and literary theory

Submission Guidelines

  1. Articles submitted to Poligrafías. Revista de teoría literaria y literatura comparada. Nueva época must be high quality texts resulting from top level research within the thematic areas listed above. They must adopt the guidelines stipulated within the journal’s stylesheet. Poligrafías. Revista de teoría literaria y literatura comparada. Nueva época only publishes original articles which have not been simultaneously submitted to other journals.

  2. Articles may be submitted in Spanish, English, French, German, and Portuguese.

  3. Articles must be accompanied by a separate file containing an abstract, 150 words long, maximum; five keywords in the original language and in English; authorial details (full name, title of the article, institutional affiliation, address, telephone number, fax, and e-mail address).

  4. This is a twice-yearly journal , the spring number to be published in April, and the fall one in October. Deadlines for articles are 30 November and 30 May, respectively.

  5. Articles must be submitted to the editor via e-mail within the stipulated deadlines to the following e-mail address: revista.poligrafias@gmail.com

  6. Articles will undergo a double-blind reviewing process involving two expert readers. Whenever assessments disagree, a third referee will be called in.

  7. Authors grant permission for their articles to be published both in paper and electronic format, including the world wide web. They will also submit a short resumé.
